Tokyo!
We had our last breakfast in Onomichi for this part of the trip. We went to きっちゃ初 a very charming cafe / breakfast spot in Onomichi. We're so happy we were able to eat here because her reservations are always full everyday. We went and she told us that if we wait for an hour we can get seated, so we went ahead and grabbed coffee and checked out of our Airbnb before we headed over for breakfast.
Going from Onomichi to Tokyo was a pretty long journey, me and Meghal had to pick up some of our luggages from the airport because we left it there for storage. It added an extra 2 hours on already long 5 hour journey to get back to Tokyo.

We were exhausted when we arrived to our Airbnb but we were pretty hungry so we drop our bags off and found a nearby restaurant 鴨すき家 あかつき and had duck shabu-shabu! We passed out right after since we were mad tired.
The next day we had plans to go see my friends
We met with my friend Ai Sakai and Ayano Sakai they’re not related just good friends and happened to marry someone with the same last name haha. I met them when they were studying abroad in the University of Winnipeg and I was volunteering in their language exchange program. We went to 祇園辻利 and had some matcha treats.
I met Ai's 2 daughters and I was so happy they were adorable!
We made our way to Asakusa to meet more friends, while walking over from the train I stumbled upon a coffee place and it looks like they had a flight of specialty beans too! Right now I'm definitely very into the co-fermentation of coffee beans with other fruits and got more bags of beans haha. This was a random find but I'm so happy we went!
After we met up with my friends Akiho, her daughter and Rie

We walked around 浅草寺 (Senso-ji) and walked over to 合羽橋 (Kappabashi) which is known as the "Kitchen town" in Japan. Meghal wanted to find some knives to buy and other kitchen tools and utensils.
We ended up in a grocery store because 1 Meg loves grocery stores, and 2 she wants to make a salad.

Posting everyday while in Tokyo was a bit of a challenge and I definitely couldn't do it, hence why this is about a week late lol.
